Cheap stay for access to Monaco. Rooms were clean but don't expect any views (sea or mountains) from the rooms despite its close location to the local beach.

The room was quite basic, but clean and quiet, a fair value for money.
They wanted me to pay for my stay upon my arrival, but I told them I prefer to settle my bill when I leave and they accepted it.

I woke up to a JCB digger tearing a house down infront of my balcony.Booked.net failed to help me at all and I was forced to pay the full rate. A totally awful experience, worst place I ave ever stayed in this place has no stars for a reason its a dump. It was run by 2 ladies who failed to speak very good english, the hotel is a run down hostel it really is the pitts.

I did not like very much about Le Grand Cap. I did like the air conditioning. Everything worked, and it was clean.
Complete lack of character, hard to find, no refrigerator.

the location was great, it was near the beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We also appreciated the multi-lingual staff who were very helpful. the room was spacious and had plenty of storage. We especially liked the balcony which was useful for enjoying the warm weather.

Well located, does "what is says on the tin" good safe garaging for motorbikes etc and a pool.
Maybe the owners/staff have been there for many years and have certainly lost the greeting capability for the guests. No attempt was made to steer us to local attractions, door code was not advised (we arrived back just after ten to find it locked, luckily a fellow guest let us in!) and we had to ask how to get to the pool and for a pool pass, all of which other hotels on our trip had provided willingly and with enthusiasm. Notwithstanding all that we would return as it is good value accommodation for the area and there is a lovely local boulangerie serving great coffee and freshly baked croissants only round the corner.
